Portfolio Sharing – Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose of Portfolio Sharing

Portfolio sharing on Skillmetrics allows a portfolio owner to grant a third party view-only access to portfolio analytics and decision metrics, in a secure and permission-based manner.

Sharing is intended to support professional discussions, due diligence, and evaluation of investment decision quality — not the transfer of raw data or proprietary models.

2. What the Recipient Can Access

By sharing a portfolio, you allow the recipient to view:

  • Aggregated performance and behavioral metrics

  • Decision-quality indicators and analytics

  • Visualizations and summaries derived from the portfolio

The recipient does not gain access to:

  • Underlying transaction-level or position-level data

  • Raw files, source data, or uploads

  • Proprietary models, calculations, or internal notes

  • Any data outside the specific portfolio shared

Skillmetrics only displays derived insights, not the underlying inputs.

3. What the Recipient Cannot Do

Recipients of shared portfolios:

  • Cannot download, export, or retrieve underlying data

  • Cannot modify the portfolio or its settings

  • Cannot re-share the portfolio unless explicitly authorized

  • Cannot infer or reconstruct raw data from the displayed analytics

Access is strictly limited to view-only analytics, subject to platform controls.

4. Control, Duration, and Acceptance

  • Access is granted only after the recipient explicitly accepts the sharing offer.

  • Sharing may be time-limited if an expiry is set.

  • Sharing status and acceptance can be reviewed at any time from your dashboard.

  • Skillmetrics may log access events for audit and security purposes.

5. Your Responsibilities as the Sharing Party

By sharing a portfolio, you confirm that:

  • You are authorized to grant access to the portfolio’s analytics

  • Sharing does not violate any confidentiality, contractual, or regulatory obligations

  • You understand that analytics are presented for informational purposes only

You remain fully responsible for ensuring that sharing is appropriate for the recipient.

6. No Transfer of Ownership or Rights

Sharing a portfolio:

  • Does not transfer ownership of any data or analytics

  • Does not grant the recipient any rights beyond view-only access

  • Does not create any advisory, fiduciary, or contractual relationship

All intellectual property remains the property of the portfolio owner and/or Skillmetrics.

7. Platform Safeguards

Skillmetrics is designed to:

  • Enforce permission-based access controls

  • Prevent exposure of raw or sensitive data

  • Maintain audit logs of sharing activity

  • Protect both portfolio owners and recipients through controlled visibility

8. Acknowledgement

By proceeding with portfolio sharing, you acknowledge that you have read and understood what sharing entails and agree to these terms.
